We’ve had some very special guests in our classrooms for Love of Reading! We want to give a huge thank you to TUSD Board Member Jennifer Eckstrom for taking the time to visit and read to our 2nd and 3rd grade students. Our scholars loved hearing your stories and seeing your support for our school!

Ochoa third grade teacher Maria Agnes Corbes got a special surprise on November 21, when representatives from the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl delivered a $1,000 check for her classroom! As part of the Extra Yard for Teachers program, this donation helps support amazing teachers and the work they do every day. Thank you to the Arizona Bowl for celebrating great educators like Ms. Corbes!

Our little learners at Ochoa had a gourd time exploring pumpkins up close—comparing shapes, sizes, and colors! They also tested their boo-tiful brains with a pumpkin-themed memory match game and practiced counting on a number line. It was a fang-tastic mix of fun and learning—no tricks, just treats for the mind!
